Edit line items

Each invoice's line items table shows Description, Type (Material, Service, or Other), Price Per, Dimension, Quantity, Unit Price, Insights, and Total. Use Columns to show or hide any of them.

Fix a line

Click a cell to edit it. Price insights for that line update to match.

Getting the unit right matters. If a price is per 100 feet but was read as per foot, the price check will be way off. Fix the Price Per or Quantity and the comparison will follow.

Add or delete a line

Add a line for anything that was missed, or delete one that doesn't belong (a page footer read as a line, for example).

Discounts, charges, and tax

Discount, Misc Charges, and Tax sit below the lines and count toward the total.

Rename a category or item type

You can change how a category or item type is shown to your team, and revert it to the default at any time.

If lots of lines on a document are wrong, try ⋯ → Reprocess Invoice first, or ⋯ → Report a Problem so we can fix it at the source.
