Spend insights

Click Insights in the sidebar to open the Metrics Explorer.

Build a view

• Group by: Supplier, Project, Category, Item Type, Purchase Type, or Material.
• Metric: Total Spend, Avg Spend, or Invoice Count.
• Top 5 / 10 / 20: how many groups to show.
• Date range: Last 7, 30, or 90 days, Last 6 or 12 months, or All time.
• Filter: search materials, suppliers, projects, or categories to narrow it down.
• Spend view: Net spend (invoices minus credits), Invoices vs credits, or Credits only.

Switch between a bar and a pie chart. The Summary table below has the exact numbers.

Example questions

• Which suppliers did we spend the most with last quarter? Group by Supplier, Total Spend, Last 90 days.
• What's eating the budget on the Oak St job? Filter to that project and group by Category.
• How much copper did we buy this year? Filter to the copper category and group by Material.
