Product price history

What you've paid for a product, from whom, and how it compares.

Updated October 29, 2026

Open a product from the Catalog to see:

  • Last paid and Best you've paid
  • Market price: what other companies typically pay. If nobody else buys it yet, it says Only yours so far.
  • Spend, Purchases, and Your vendors

A summary at the top says Good price., Overpaying., or Limited comparison. (few other companies buy this, so the market price is rough).

Tabs

  • Purchases: every time you bought it, with date, supplier, and price.
  • Quotes: every quote that included it.
  • Vendors: what each of your suppliers charges.
  • Similar items: close alternatives, useful when you're open to a substitute.

Using it

Before reordering, check Vendors to see who's been cheapest recently. When a supplier's price jumps, Purchases shows exactly when it changed.
